Amar Pradeep Swain is a seasoned IT leader with over 26 years of experience in driving digital transformation and innovation across various industries. He is currently the Vice President and Global Head of Corporate IT at Philip Morris International, where he is a member of the Global IT leadership team driving the IT operating model transformation needed to Unsmoke the world. Amar is a strategic partner to the CFO, shaping and driving the digital transformation of the finance function through a strong focus on data-driven decision making, adoption of intelligent automation, and standardization of financial flows. He is also driving the digital agenda for HR along with the CHRO through technology and product-based operating models, enabling the HR transformation through the usage of artificial intelligence in talent acquisition, learning, talent assessment, and performance management. In his previous role at Philip Morris International, Amar was the CIO for Russia and Belarus, where he led the digital transformation of the multi-category business model and drove the technology architecture overhaul. He also introduced the first integrated digital marketing suite as part of the commercialization approach for the new products. Amar is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Digital Transformation. He has extensive experience in mobile technology and is a strong advocate for using technology to enhance employee experience and drive business growth.
